Overview
B.Com. or Bachelor of Commerce is a three-year undergraduate degree programme. B.Com is the most preferred choice of a majority of the students who complete their higher secondary education in the commerce stream. Bachelor of commerce offers understanding in Accounting, Economics, Business Law, Taxation, Insurance and Management. The primary focus of the B.Com. degree course is to impart education across commerce and finance subjects.
Scope
The Bachelor of Commerce program prepares you for a career in accounting, financial management, banking and insurance, information systems and management. Some B.Com. students also consider the course while preparing for Chartered Accountant, Cost Accounting and Company Secretary.
After completion of B.Com, you can apply in any organization for the post of accountant. Every company requires accountant to keep track the profit and loss of their company. One must have knowledge in areas like Basic Principles of Accountancy, Cost Accounting and Management Accounting to be an accountant.

Eligibility
• Candidates seeking admission in B.Com.(Plain) program must have secured minimum 45% aggregate marks at 10+2 or equivalent examination in any discipline from a recognized Education Board.
